Guest Information

In an effort to preserve the Churchill River Lodge's reputation of providing convenient and comfortable accomodations for our corporate and government clients; fisherman, canoesists and eco tourists, we ask you to observe the following house rules during your stay;

Guest cabins are set up as light housekeeping suites. Onsite staff will provide you with fresh towels and garbage/recycling removal.

Pets/animals are not allowed at the Lodge (Service animals are the exception)

We are proud to offer you smoke-free accomodations. Any smoking should be done outside the cabins. Cigarette butts need to be disposed of properly.

A fish cleaning station is located beside the campground. Please refrain from cleaning fish in the cabins.

We ask for your cooperation with local recycling and waste minimization initiatives. Leaf Rapids was the the first municipality in North America to introduce By-law legislation banning single use plastic shopping bags. Cloth bags are provided in each cabin for your convenience.

If you plan on bringing your own watercraft, be sure to  advise us.

Manitoba's fish are a shared resource, if future generations are to enjoy fishing, and value the chances of catching a trophy fish we need to look after our fish poulation now. We encourage you to include the use of barb less hooks and catch and release techniques in your boat.

We suggest you bring your own drinking water.

11:00pm to 6:00am are quiet hours. We ask that radios, stereos, TV's, etc be operated in a manner that does not disturb others.

Seeing a bear can be one of the most memorable experiences of your wilderness vacation, but it is our responsibilty to respect the bear in its home.

Bear safety essentials; - respect all bears - thay can be dangerous - never appraoch a bear - never attempt to feed a bear -  never surprise a bear - learn about bears.
